I think the ngrok tunnel server they setup to exfiltrate data actually sent the GDID to the ngrok servers. This GDID was then linked to non-VPN IP logs by Microsoft.

Yeah in my country it needs to be correctly adjusted and there’s yearly inspections to have your car be road worthy. They somehow make it trough.
Yeah. It might be preferable to draw a line between social media and chat applications.
That way the people who are scared can teach their children to talk on services that are scanned, while people that care for their privacy can opt for private communication.
