The US has absolutely not soured on EVs, you need to read the headlines in your bubble more critically. The increasing rate at which EVs are selling in the US is increasing slightly less quickly. Which is all the oil company headlines need to spout bullshit.

These batteries are already in production cars. Have been for a while. If you don’t have access to them it’s because of your regressive protectionist government.

Lazily crossing out bits of normal words in a clear bid to increase comment count/engagement metrics to boost a post is on a sharp and marked rise on Lemmy. Do we need to have a more active hand in removing these posts to keep discussions from getting polluted? It’s really quite tedious to see it happening so often.
