I can’t say for sure what the real reason was, but it was rather limiting. There’s a reason why any website that wanted to look even a little bit different used flash, it was just easier to work with back then.

21 daysAh yes, the “Two minutes of hate” comment section of the day. 😏 (I’m in this comment section…)
Kind of crazy that Windows 10 still has 28% market share though.

22 daysYeah, if get a few bad sectors suddenly you’re spending most of a day backing things up.
I do miss the simplicity of frames, but I totally get why <div> + CSS replaced it.

The only reddit I use now is either via redlib, or by the domain listing which still use old.reddit.com format for the time being (https://www.reddit.com/domain/v.redd.it/ for example, or https://www.reddit.com/domain/youtube.com/ / https://www.reddit.com/domain/youtu.be/). But once they kill those domain listings I’ll not be spending much time there.
It’s funny how I hated the migration from Digg to reddit back in 2010 because reddit looked so ass, but once I got used to the features Reddit Enhancement Suite brought along, it was hard to give up.
Obligatory “fuck spez” and why not “fuck kevin rose” as well.

(Never mind El Nino of course).

I thought they were already on Kylin OS, but I guess for a country that big it takes a while to fully transition.
It reminds me, I downloaded a copy of OpenKylin a few days ago that I meant to try out…

Valid. I think a lot of people do this. I may be an outlier, I don’t like having launchers open unless I need them open, so I close them whenever I’m done gaming.
