Nah, won’t happen. They’ll cut power to homes to prevent the datacenter blackout.
They don’t care. They think (and hope) people will buy the new ps6 at whatever price and will accept digital because what choice they have? Get a switch 2? Or an xbox (can you even buy them?). Nah, the guy playing fc, or cod, or nfl or gta will buy one. And let’s be honest, that casual gamer who gets the same titles every year and eventually buys something else (still mainstream) is the biggest part of their playerbase.
Some people will switch to pc but the majority will silently buy a ps6 only digital because let’s be honest, they don’t care if FC26 becomes unplayble in 2030, by that time, they’ll be playing FC30.

Yeah no. If my boss comes to tell me that from now on my “productivity” will be measured in token usage rather than actual “production”, you can bet I will use agents for every fucking thing. Hell, I’ll even make a desktop clock that works by asking the IA what time is it every milisecond and then updating the time on screen every time. I’m gonna burn tokens till you regret it.
If after this happens, the rules of billing change and my boss starts getting charged per token usage instead of a flat charge per month, that’s not my problem; until my productivity stops being measured in token usage, you are gonna pay dumb money for your dumbness.
They don’t need to do it. It’s the possibility of doing it what is already wrong. What happens if pedohitler decides that he needs to shutdown the phones for some bullshit reason before the midterms? You think apple won’t bow and do as daddy trump says?
This is a major concern because it’s written in the OS directly. It’s not just something they install in your phone if it’s a lease meaning that even if your phone is not leased, they can do it.
