MIAMI — Tropical Storm Fausto formed Sunday well off Mexico’s southwest Pacific coast, while a tropical depression meandering in warm Gulf of Mexico waters south of the Florida Panhandle was threatening to strengthen into a named storm.

Fausto emerged from a tropical depression about 750 miles south-southwest of the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula and was expected to undergo steady or rapid strengthening and become a hurricane by Monday night, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

The storm had maximum sustained winds of 40 mph and was moving to the west-northwest at 13 mph. No coastal watches or warnings were in effect.

At least nine people were critically injured early Sunday when a gunman opened fire in a busy entertainment district in Tucson, Arizona, before police officers shot him and stopped the threat, authorities said.

The post included what appeared to be decompiled source code from the app, revealing what the user described as OneSignal’s ‘full GPS pipeline compiled in.’ According to the post, the code showed the app ‘polling your location every 4.5 minutes, syncing your exact coordinates to a third-party server.’ The White House has not publicly responded to the specific technical claims.
