By competition I think they (big AI) wants to outlaw running free and open local models. Can’t have felony contempt of business model

Mine is 8100. Everything I was looking at, at that time, could only handle half at best.
My problem with them was they never seemed to be able to handle a yard large enough in order to justify their price.

Been following them for a bit, was going to build one a few years back, but instead bought a riding mower to pull double duty on teaching my daughter driving skiils
Remember when it was $35/month? Dropped them like a bad habbit when it went to $60 something. No ala carte and adding channels I never wanted were also contributing factors.
It was more AMD than Framework AFAIK. Soldered memory is basically a requirement to run the strix halo platform.
