Cake day: January 11th, 2025

Power is included but not Internet and there’s a laundry that’s shared between this unit and the neighbouring unit. On the downside, there is no kitchen sink and only a “mini oven”. If this place had a real oven and a kitchen sink then I’d sign up immediately.

Why are we skimping on basic things, like kitchens? I want to cook my own food and eat healthy, not buy takeaways every second day while living off bowls of weetbix and crackers and cheese.

Yesterday afternoon I went to the wigram air force museum and paid $5 for the tour at 1:30pm. My friend and I listened to this geezer talk for over an hour, and we got to climb into a Bristol Freighter. Pretty cool. I can’t imagine christchurch being a forward-thinking place ever again. Maybe 50 or 100 years ago there were good people who wanted to invest in the health of the country, but these days it’s just parasites and vultures sucking the marrow from the nation’s bones.
