I was on Reddit for 17 years. I let way too many shitstorms and skeevy behavior by the company pass because hey, it’s Reddit, it’s essentially part of my life now, where else will i go? Then the APIcalypse happened and it was the straw that broke the camel’s back, wiped out all my comments and left. I have found no real replacement of it (just bits and pieces that kinda do similar things together as an inadequate replacement) but still don’t regret it and despise the owners that ruined one of the best resources we had on the internet. May they fall into utter ruin.

The site says explicitly that they have screen-reader friendly options, but now i wonder how is this implemented to differenciate between the AI crawlers passing as screen readers and real screen readers
