10 daysThis statement doesn’t contradict yours, they only said they avoid Alienware branded monitors now.
That does not mean the inverse statement is also true, they didn’t say they recommended the whole brand of monitors before.
Maybe they recommended specific models with Alienware branding before and will not do so in the future because of this bloatware.

The whole client is open source, but idk if you can simply call the API with a token for a linked device or something. Pretty sure Signal doesn’t want “chatbots” on their networks and it might be against ToS.
