Yep, this was my dream back when external GPUs were a thing (maybe they still are?). And then I entertained the strix halo handheld devices for that same dual purpose, but those prices are bananas.

24GB of RAM seems overkill for a handheld. I’d rather it have less and be cheaper. I’d also rather be ARM and cost 500USD AND have VR capabilities, but hey, that’s just me.

Can someone tell me what specific hardware models this driver is actually for? Its not mentioned in the article. I have a 2070super lying around and I’d love to use it for linux gaming machine.

For this game it says “unsupported” which means they tested it and it doesn’t meet their criteria. Although the steam deck verified programme is largely rubbish anyway, I tend to just see if there’s a YouTube video of someone running it, and use that to make my mind up.
