Day at home as the weather is dangerously bad on the mountains, so we started packing. In less than one week we'll start our journey (literally, we'll go by train from Italy) to the Kungsleden in

    I am trying to train a bit more, and yesterday we attempted the Monte Pelmo tour. The weather was not great so we decided to stop before in order to avoid rain on the most difficult part of the hike. We didn’t avoid the rain, though, and the trail became extremely slippery and muddy.
    We will try again next week, let’s hope for a sunny day!

      Sometimes I am too tired from life and I almost give up on waking up at 5AM to go hiking.

        Hiking packing list app: advice needed!

        Hiking packing list app: advice needed!
        I am currently using Lighterpack, but I would like to switch to a more mobile friendly website or app. The website is not mobile friendly and it takes a lot of time to update my backpack list (plus it’s so difficult to navigate from mobile)
        What do you hikers use? Any advice is more than welcome 🙇‍♀️ bonus if the app is open source.

          For this #MountainMonday I would like to talk about an amazing initiative brought on by the Italian Alpine Club from Livinallongo (BL).

          For this #MountainMonday I would like to talk about an amazing initiative brought on by the Italian Alpine Club from Livinallongo (BL).
          It’s called “Adopt a trail”.
          Trails are the threads the connect our towns, valleys, the lives of the people that live and have lived our mountains.
          The maintenance of these trails is voluntary, every section has to clean, track and do a yearly maintenance on hundreds of km.
