he’d “vibe coded a bad but improvable game” over two days, although he only “actively” worked on it for about three hours.

I made a bad but improvable game in 2 hours on my phone on a train

Trijam exists and the games are surprisingly good

Making a bad but improvable game in 2 days doesnt mean anything

Sleeping doesnt work on my device

Some versions of pre 1.0 minecraft are available on the official (java) launcher (if you do not have an account something like prism cracked would work too)

I know more old versions exist on the internet and have seen minecraft.wiki lists some with download links, but i have never tried to use such an old version

I completely forgot about 1.21.1

Regarding 26.2, i would just wait for the last not bad version since if they do make java edition bad (which i doubt would happen), they wouldnt do everything suddendly

Minecraft (java edition) is extremely easy to pirate and you can play old versions of the game

Its the most purchased game in the world, do you think there is after the full release that isnt backed up a couple hundred times?

But if you want, i would recommend 1.7.9, 1.12.2, 1.16.5, and 1.19.4 since those are the most modded versions of minecraft as far as i know (1.7 and 1.12 being mostly tech modpacks)

Did you read the last sentance?

Why would any developer voluntarily disclose the use of AI when all it will do is result in some people not purchasing the game?

They probably wouldnt want to risk getting banned from steam and having their reputation hurt

i hope linux phones succeed
