Just recently migrated from Ente to Immich. Immich is much nicer, more consistent, friendlier to self host, and less buggy in my experience so far.

6 days?? Containers can be ISO 27002 compliant, they don’t have a control against them to my knowledge
I’ve been using Calibre Web Automated on my server and it works nicely, no issues so far and addresses the shortcomings for self hosting pretty well


I backup my whole NAS to AWS S3 glacier deep storage. I use rclone to encrypt it client side and perform incremental syncs. It is slow and costs extra to pull the data out, but I pay roughly $2/mo for all of my data to live there
