I couldn’t for the life of me reconcile how people I knew as good and decent could rationalise and support monstrous, blatantly evil acts. This episode (and the book it’s based on) helped a lot.

Personally wouldn’t be an issue for me: I’d present anubis to my boss, he’d make fun of both the mascot and me, I’d laugh it off and explain how we can get rid the awoo girl.
I’m fine with being known as a weirdo tho, but in a more cutthroat corporate environment that kind of thing weighs you down carrier-wise so I get it.
