Nothing is really guaranteed in investing (unless you’re in public office and can insider trade or you’re a billionaire), though the post IPO dip has happened often enough that, yes, it probably isn’t the worst idea to have a plan.

It’s going to take global upheaval to claw power back from the billionaires. They live in a world where they are completely divorced from any kind of public infrastructure, and that wasn’t the case the last time this happened in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

Everyone with a brain cell predicted this when Flock began to become infamous earlier this year.

If your cameras are “AI-Powered” and collecting billions of data points on people, it’s just going to equate to (at least) tens of thousands erroneous identifications due to the limitations of the software.

And that’s unacceptable.

Nintendo being anti-consumer is no surprise, but it’s nice to see someone tried to hold them to account.

The good news is that the scientific community fought back hard against it. You never understand how badass astronomers are until you read up on corporations trying to arse themselves into space.

I actually made my weekly video about Jeff Sovern and his Anti-Flock vigilantism last week. If anyone out there is bored, give it a watch and enjoy.

I understand that this is anecdotal, but the schoolteachers I know all tell similar stories.

Most kids can’t read up to their grade level and can’t focus for more than 60 seconds. They’re unable to tell you the answer to a question when it’s literally written on the board in front of them, and a common question they ask is: “If AI can do this for me, why do I have to learn it at all?”

Which tells me that the AI age will produce lazy people who are unable to think for themselves or solve simple problems. Then again, maybe BCI’s will become common and they literally won’t have to actually think for themselves.

It’s gonna be so great getting old with them running the world.
