Worked several jobs, including in a nursing home. Got thyroid cancer and the treatment caused me to have a stroke and many other health issues. Thanks to the stroke I’m now partially sighted, can’t walk properly and can no longer work. Also have chronic foot infections and migraines. NHS treatment is so awful it has made my health worse rather than better. My local pharmacist tells me I’m a drain on the NHS because my medications cost so much. Still waiting for my disability benefit backpay and still desperately struggling financially.

I’m still recovering from my last foot surgery and still have bandages that need changing every day. I wash my laundry in disinfectant to try and contain the spread of the infection, and now after surgery to try and prevent the surgical wounds from getting infected. But I’ve run out of the disinfectant and desperately need some more. It’s this one:

If anyone can help me get some, any kind of help would be appreciated. Whether you order some directly from the website and have it sent to me, or I have paypal (please PM for the paypal email address) if that is easier. They also sell it on amazon, if someone finds it easier to order from amazon and send it to me, or sends me an amazon gift card. Just literally any way of getting some of this.

As mentioned before I can’t afford to buy things myself due to being in massive debt from my benefit appeal and still waiting for backpay. Please PM me if you can help.

I’ve written a lot before about my financial issues and how difficult the food bank is to access. I’ve tried every other avenue of help but they are all closed now.

If anyone can send me a supermarket gift card, it can be totally anonymous if you prefer, I won’t see any of your payment details or your name.

This one takes credit and debit cards and google pay:

This one takes crypto:

If you can help, please send it to DisabledAceSocialist@hotmail.com

I’m really grateful for any help.

A policeman’s knee was injured while trying to arrest someone and he’s now not fit for active service. His biggest complaint about this? Not the pain he must be in, not the fact he can no longer do things he wants. No, his biggest complaint is "The officer said the burden he believes he is placing on others was the equivalent of ”living a death sentence.”

We live in such a sick capitalist society that if you’re injured at work and can no longer do everything you used to, your biggest worry is that you’re now a burden on society. And no wonder, since society does treat the disabled as a burden.
