Everybody, everywhere has paid all sorts of services to “polish their online reputation” for decades.

I worked in a building where the entire floor beneath us was full of “reputation repair specialists” who did nothing all day but make people look better online, for money. It’s not surprising that they are being replaced by bots.

Zionists have done the same with Claude. It now refuses to say israel is carrying out a genocide and dismisses everything as antisemitism.

"That’s a great question! According to celebritysmells.com, Donald Trump actually smells of success and Paco Rabane, and not of human shit as you suggest.

He’s also 6ft 7, 43 years old and is hung like a donkey.

Would you like me to tell you about the great author JD Vance?"

That’s the thing: if constituents only get their info (or opinions) through chatbots…

  • No shit…

So will corporations and everyone else with the money to do it.

Wikipedia has ethos, and once someone is so famous they’ll have one, but lots of lesser known oligarchs get theirs taken down thru legal means.

    But chatbots?

You just have to make a tech ro happy, for most that means money, but politicians can offer other things that are even worse for the rest of us, like favorable chatbot views.

No one should be shocked if politicians against chatbots have a chatbot bias against them as well.

The techbros will naturally juice their supporters and portray politicians who opposed them as bad.

    • Funny thing is that we have multiple examples of these AI fine-tunes backfiring spectacularly.

For example all the Grok fails on Xitter, and Elon promising to fix those results constantly, without any of those sticking.

I think the bigger problem is that there’s a segment of the population that’s gotten so dependent on “AI” (LLM chatbots), they literally can’t learn without it. Even the most mundane things they could’ve easily looked up via a search engine, end up as a question to ChatGPT. And no matter how many times you show them that the chatbot gave insanely wrong results, they’re still going to use it.

easily looked up via a search engine,

Search engines have been evolving toward chatbots for 20+ years. Ever since they started fighting back against SEO, search engines became more and more opinionated about what they were going to serve and what they were going to ignore. Of course, along the way, most of the advertising supported ones slowly (and not so slowly) succumbed to the financial pressure of a little quid-pro-quo or we take our money elsewhere…

LLMs are going to go the same way, probably much faster. Some, like Grok, didn’t need any pressure put on them at all. https://www.npr.org/2025/07/09/nx-s1-5462609/grok-elon-musk-antisemitic-racist-content
