I’d be fine with that. He eventually found the smartest person in the world and put him in charge. Trump just appointss sycophants that are the most vile, evil people on the planet.
The Federation president is probably passable. Though Star Trek really doesn’t show how the Federation government is structured probably because they don’t want to lean too much into the socialist undertones in case they get canceled (like actually canceled) for it.
