This is Netanyahu, not a leader like Kim Jong Un or Putin who seem so far away, so inaccessible as to be impossible for us to understand. Netanyahu sits down for podcasts with influencers, he speaks English with an Philly accent. He’s on TV, he visits the US all the time.
At the same time, though, he is deeply misunderstood. I do not think most people my age or most people in general truly know who or what Benjamin Netanyahu really is, perhaps because of how visible he is.
