As one of the individuals who was successful at creating a few games (8 or more) both 2d and 3d, I’m running into some serious issues when it comes to using the new AI Helper tool.

Firstly, the system keeps running a ticket-based que system that keeps on locking out the user from making any further changes. This has lead to many projects being completely stalled, overall discontinued, and has provided a headache of a way to address minor issues in website or game development because the system just refuses to do anything for hours. Network status says that the network is normal, but then cannot input anything with the helper tool.

For my current game Questmore, I’ve found the tool to be inadequate to designing basic shape or tools; sword look like a twisted cone, a boat paddle, a house, the blade base is perpendicular to the sword hilt… No one will be winning any wars with these kinds of sword. The older model, while pretty terrible, had the models at least looking somewhat correct. AI Helper has gotten many project farther, but I am really struggle to see how that is an improvement when the designed are getting either outright wrong, or take to long to improve since there’s little three or five request in a day you can make.

I like that it can now attach documents, text files, java script, and even images, but I’m finding that is still struggles with some of the same issues as the previous version of the AI Helper. I look at some of the cumbersome text it makes, and it just inefficient at fixing basic issues, though sometime it does well… It’s just not working out if I need to fix something basic in the program and it take one of the valuable turns to address something simple before I get locked out.

There are many users here that haven’t got that far, but at some point, this system is so poorly designed, that it’s just turning into a rendering nightmare when the project gets too large. To be frank, AI Helper need dramatic upgrade or an overhaul altogether in order for it be useful for anything that is beyond a ms-dos game or program.

It’s just not looking good.

I don’t want to be a power mod. I dun wanna, I dun wanna, I dun wanna. But !motorcycles@lemmy.world is apparently unmoderated completely now, at least if I’m reading the sidebar and its empty mod list correctly, presumably because the creator/original mod deleted their account. And its one of the communities I’m active in (though admittedly, possibly not as often as I should be).

In the apparent absence of any other volunteers, can I have it? It’s not quite dead, and I have an ulterior motive in the form of the header picture which was my photograph at one point but is now empty because I guess it got deleted along with the previous incumbent’s account.

It seems like no matter how many times I set my language to English in my profile settings, I have to set my language to English when I submit any comment or post every time.

I don’t know what happens when I just ignor that drop-down, but I’d like to avoid reinforcing the Americentric Internet issue where non-English speakers have to sort through a slew of posts they can’t (or don’t want to) read in English just because that’s the default and nobody bothered to tag them.

Put differently, if say, a Spanish reader gets posts that are labeled Spanish as well as any post that are not labeled, there’s a good chance the vast majority of posts are English, which is probably pretty annoying. I don’t want to do that to people.

I believe one or more moderators of an instance are acting in bad faith. As I understand it, Lemmy does not have a modmail function to address the issue with the team, so I need to seek out the instance admin?

I see no indication towards either on the community’s side bar and I don’t think there’s a support@[instance] community.

The communities in question are !bulgariaeu and !sofia . The admin rarely shows up and I’ve been keeping them alive for years. I’m asking to be added as an admin along the founder, not replacing him.

The first one of these has a sentimental value, because it is the name of an important community on reddit that was dissolved.

The second one is for the capital of Bulgaria. Since, I’ve set up a dedicated Bulgarian instance and I’ve been avoiding to create a community on Sofia to avoid duplication.

As you could see from the votes, the Bulgarian community here is present, even if small and not very active in native language and on these topics. Yet, I firmly believe they are worth maintaining.
