It seems like it’s a subscription from what I can tell. I see some people buying ‘lifetime’ subscriptions in the play store reviews, so I’m guessing that’s the case. Now, it also looks like it’s from one lone developer with 27 contributors in GitHub. The app can be downloaded from GitHub (I would use obtainium for that), so that’s a good thing. I think supporting developments like this via a subscription (assuming it’s not crazy expensive) should be normalized if the product is good enough. On that factor, I can’t really comment since I just KeePass the hell out of my credentials over Syncthing, but I do believe there’s value in supporting developers like this guy.

Hold on, aren’t MAC users leasing already? Once they stop updates to any one MAC, that’s that for the computer ‘you bought and paid for’. So, they are changing the terminology and calling it a ‘business model’?

The EV bans are pre-Trump, but whatever stop on Chinese imports the Biden admin put in place, this administration has been pushing further by orders of magnitude. That’s intentionally constantly reducing the acquisition power of the population by artificially inflating prices by forcing “made in the USA” and if that’s nor available, which is the case on many electronic products, then flat out leave the population without a way to acquire those. Fucking ridiculous.

It took longer than I thought. Anything better and more affordable than what the US oligarchs offer must be banned. I’m blown away by how backwards thinking the US has become as a whole. They are starting to look like that schizophrenic cousin that is always freaking out about someone installing a transceiver in their head 😵‍💫

Like I said at the beginning, I love the things that he has achieved, and I have no issue being transparent about what I don’t like about him, but honor where honor is due. He surprised me, in a good way, I hope he can keep doing just that. Has he turned around from being an over-promising politician? Hopefully, but as with any other politician, I’m not holding my breath. Whether this makes me a left or right wing person, I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter because some, if not most already decided for me.

I would agree if the judicial system was doing their job and being fair. That is not even remotely the case, is it?

I was against all the evidently inflamed promises of free buses, city run grocery stores and the elimination of the homeless encampment sweeps. And, by the way, I was right all along, he had to pedal back in all 3 of them, because they were, as with every other politician, right, left or center, just campaign noise to incite the masses. Those are all doable, all 3 of them, but they all require careful planning and a shitload of time and money, to avoid making things worse in the long term. Those, and a few other promises that were impossible to achieve in the way he painted them, were the reasons I didn’t like the guy. I still don’t like him, for the exact same reasons. Full disclosure, I like Cuomo and Adams even less, those fucking dinosaurs just wanted to suck on more of the people’s money than they already had. Now, as much as I dislike that Mandani is more of the same promise-ridden bullshit, I’m still gladly surprised by the things he has actually accomplished, and in record time.

Unfortunately, much like in the last presidential race, where the US had only horrible options to pick from, New York didn’t really have any “stellar” choices. Glad to see Mandani was the least bad for NYC.

Another thing I have been right about all along, any disagreement with anyone will create execution squads made out of the fanboys and fangirls of that individual, even when proven accurate. This is why the US is in such a decline now. Get fucking together and understand that both sides want that hate between left and right to spread. We’re all nothing but fuckong sheep for both sides.

Don’t give a fuck about the right or left, only about what is beneficial to most, but it needs to make sense. The math has to make fucking sense, Mandani’s never did.

Disagree with Mandani = Republican? So Disagreeing with Trump makes me a Democrat, right? That’s exactly the problem, labeling people that think different in any way shape or form. No wonder the US is falling to pieces.

I was against Mandani, but the guy has been coming out with good decisions after good decisions for New Yorkers. Yeah, I don’t agree with him in a lot, but New York chose him for specific reasons, and the guy is delivering.

He became irrelevant the moment he sold the Star Wars franchise to Disney, and it’s all been downhill from there (both for him and the franchise). Fuck him.
