  • Usually beets is the solution but it uses the same source as picard. Songs shouldn’t get shorter though? Sorting should be the same though, independent of the software.

I gave up a couple of years ago. It is too much work for too little gain.

  • I am a lemmy user. Use as much as you want as long as you take full responsibility for it. I am open to ai. There is rubbish, but there’s also very good stuff.

I don’t have enough security knowledge, I can’t judge if a project is applying state of the art security practices. If a non experienced dev published a fully working app within a couple of days, one may rightfully question the quality of the project. You have to have experience in order to judge a llm output. The more people look at it, the better. I don’t judge you, I didn’t look into either project.

I usually connect with my server via ssh in a terminal and run basic commands. What’s a better, more efficient and modern way of doing that? Especially considering ai and documentation along the way? I wonder if there’s a better approach than “connect from remote and act local”. Is there a method to “code local and push to remote”?

I use a fedora server with podman, caddyfile and vi.

  • Wow, thank you! Although I’m not sure about the conclusion. I guess the devs are fully aware of the situation since they also use immich themselves. Maybe they always upload their images immediately so that they don’t focus on the situation in which the media is unsynced.
