      This is a perfect example of why the EU AI Act is so important. Researchers have been warning about these kinds of dangers for decades. Still using AI despite its well known flaws/biases is just downright evil

        I genuinely think we need to pass a law that makes any organization that switches their processes to AI can be held specifically liable for damages by anyone harmed from the results.

        AI Slop aside, if an org uses AI from the start and is transparent they would be exempt. At that point people get what they pay for.

        But switching to AI in a bait & switch fashion should absolutely open orgs up to liability.
